She s an Emeritus Professor of Human Nutrition. Us nutritionist, knows her for authoring one of the essential book for nutrition students "Principles of Nutritional Assessment". Well maybe not only for us nutritionist, midwife and other medical students are also using this book for reference.
It has been an interesting week for me! A week with Ros! We showed her our field work, arranging her guest lecture about Dietary Assessment, attending Ros's private lecture with unpad nutrition lecturers, and today we evaluate the progress of our work with her. By my request, she share her story about what she did when she was young. Hope it will motivate us to pursue our life goals, especially when it comes to community nutrition and public health.
Well now it s time for her to go back to NZ, we re really honored to be able to meet her personally and talked a lot about how nutrition affecting global health. We agreed that it is ridiculous to ignoring nutrition science when it comes to public health. Nutrition shall be considered as an input to human resources development, not just an output.
